Hello,
Dutch dude living in Perth since 2 year need some Pacific advice in regards to kite surfing.
Am an advanced rider.
Ride with 12 meter and 8 meter.
Looking for some stories from people who kite surfed in Moorea and/or Cook Islands
Read that May till October is great for Kite surfing in Moorea (French Polynesia) are all those months stable wind? or maybe just a few? which?
Who has been there in that period and who has some experience there?? Is that period really good for kite surf? or do you need to have some luck too? any experience? please let me know when you went, how much and often you had enough wind? and where you recommend to stay?
Same story with cook islands/ Aitutaki?
I read that july/august is the best time (only?) True? (just those 2 months I read??
How many days you went out? how much wind ? which accomodation you recommend for budget travel?
I am trying to make a decision for a 2 week trip and all I need is budget accomodation and pretty reliable wind conditions.
Both islands Look awesome but maybe one is much better for budget travels then other?
All info do,s and donts are welcome..
Been reading lots of info but get the idea that aitutaki will be much more expensive than Moorea?
All info welcome...
Thanks to all replies!

no surf on aitutaki and limited beach access on Moorea Tahiti
