Pretty sick bottom shape, anyone tried kiting one ? Not kite construction but looks like it might be a good lightwind board, thoughts ?

Am I the only one to click on this because they thought it was something like a cool weather condition?

Yeah I rode it, I found it a bit too slippery with a quad setup, and I don't like 3 fins when kiting. But last weekend I was bored so i tried it with quads and a small centre fin as well and it was amazing, I think the rails don't really help much so the 5 fins actually works quite well, especially kiting.
As for quality, I have only been riding it in light winds in small bay chop for just over a month and it has been ok, minus the obvious heel dents etc. I will let you know how it holds up over the next couple months.

Cheers,

Rob

... what size do you have? Board looks good. Slippery is good isn't it, I like slippery!

Thanks for your comments. Maybe the fins are too small, for my weight 92kg I need larger fins for drive. How was it upwind? that's where I thought it would shine.
