The yellow Kite Tack Buoys will be removed from Lucky Bay before month end as we need them for Kite Cross. They will not go out again until next Summer.

Regardless of what people think of their effectiveness, let them serve as a symbolic seasonal reminder to stay away from trees, roads and people. From what I know, there has only been one incident from someone having to climb a tree to fetch a kite, and that was at Attadale. I will not go in to detail, but the end result was a 4 meter fall with only a broken arm but lots of time off the water

Moahahaha[}:)] The buoys was a great idea, however I'm not sure if they had ANY effect at all. You can barely see them and only half the people down the know what they are actually for. I read about the at the start of the season and I still am not sure how they were supposed to work or if they did. It's a circus downt he either way, but it still works fine down there in my opinion

I've got them secure in the shed. 2 leaked, the most upwind one due to gash by kiteboard me thinks, and the other due to design flaw.

Anyhow, happy that they are so easy to put in and pull out. The concrete molds work perfect and were poured on 7/7/07....hopefully a lucky number for Lucky Bay.

Was almost tempted to kite SE, but I do hate this wind direction and still buzzing from great time up north.

Don't throw darts when you're in an incubator Dave.. I don't think I've ever seen you pass the buoys in a correct fashion..

And WTF do you know about my driving?!? And what's wrong with my kiting?!? Not sure where you get off on those comments and what facts you base them on but you are of course entitled to your opinion... Even if it's wrong.

Dont worry Dave, I'll have a little chat next time I see you, no point bitching on a forum, let's just say I'm legitimately pissed

Well... every time I bumped into a beginner or learner I told them to stay on the other side of the bouys and they did, so i think they are effective for the pple out there who are the most vulnerable and least ignorant.
