The boats pick up everyone. You can buy a discount multi rescue pass from any of the local kite shops or it's 50 euro per rescue if you don't pre purchase the pass.

I must have been the unlucky one... 
it was pretty insane kiting and super windy, about 35 kts ,
it was just like a big woodies haha
there was rescue boats, half way down the beach ...
Funny, I was in Tarifa then too. Nice clip. The rescue boats were a bit over the top, they were 'rescuing' kiters that were about 10 metres from shore.

It's just the normal easterly wind they get at the spot. was like this everyday and night... apparently theres also big swell at the same spot....cracking location!
This was only a week ago.... same spot as the pic I posted above...
rescue boats were ott... 30 euro for two passes they were straight onto people to rescue lol especially near the agua bar
That spot is nothing like woodies hahaha. It's gusty as hell in comparison.
Also that surf shot is pretty misleading. 95% of waves there are close outs (if there's any waves, as it's usually pretty rare).
Great spot spot for the Euros, but it's got nothing compared to what's here. Not that many different kite spots and that easterly is gusty as,.
