Pretty suspect editing at 0:58. If I was the sceptical type I'd say they were trying to make it look like he pulled off something he didn't.

wow... surfing has evolved in the last 5 years, how's the double back rolls!! He picks the barrel lines just perfectly...awesome to watch. Think the other surfers were also impressed! Reminds me of a time I was at guillotines (mmm 12 years ago!) and four pro young dudes were being filmed, we just sat out back in awe. And that was nothing compared to this fella!
Total killer video, probably the best surfing vid I have seen so far.
So what should kiters do, use the kite as little as possible and surf like this guy? They could only come short if they see the kite as an obstacle and try to copy this guy.
Kiting in 2 years= massive strapless airs and tricks and lots of broken boards
Remember that 5 years ago riding strapless was radical....
now even kooks like me do it.
