Hi friends. As most would know, the National Wave Titles that were supposed to be held at Main Break ( Margaret River WA ) last weekend were postponed, as borders remained closed. A very well run local comp was held in its place with fantastic weather conditions, a really nice swell & a good turn out of competitors & spectators. Here is a Gallery of my pics from Saturdays event. Regards, Gordon. Link www.truespiritphotos.com/Watersports/Kitesurfing-October-2021-to-March-2022/Quobba-Margaret-River-Classic-12022022/

Great pics Gordon. Really captured the whole weekend. Felt like a nationals with 47 competitors from WA alone- massive thanks to Andre Cater for taking over when the Nats were called off and running the comp with a heap of behind the scene work. in 20 years of competing that would be the best comp I've been too. Great crew, awesome wind all day from 9.00 and decent swell. If it's a nationals there next year may need a few extra days as I think you will get 100+ competitors. Thanks to Geoff for all his work running the whole heat draw and being head judge and all the volunteers. Things flow smoothly when everyone helps out and the comp was just that.
