My local beach - one of the best in Aus for kiting and now this. Such a ridiculous accident that could have been prevented.
Please respect all beach goers. We are lucky this guy was so good about it.

gotta say I think we need a self imposed code of conduct like the responsible tow surfers use.
If you can't stay 100m away from other beach users, pack up and go kite another spot. With 20,000+ klms of coast, it shouldn't be hard to find a safe place to kite (safe for other people).
It's incidents like this that will lead to kites being banned.

Gee i'd be really pissed if some clown did that to me or my kids, dont think I would be to calm about it, some compensation would be in order I think, say 2 cartons should cover it, at least !!!
