Just thought i would give everyone an update on the total as it has been pretty quiet as of late . Went into the bank today and raised a bank cheque to go to his family solicitor who has set up a trust fund for his son Milo .

So there you go, that is the total amount . I would like to thank every single person who donated . His parents are also contributing and Milo is going to have a fantastic nest egg and us as a community have provided that for him .

When i set the fund up i was expecting 2 maybe 5 grand and to see a cheque in my hand for nearly $30K has floored me . It's just under 6 months on and there isn't a day i don't think about him . He was my mate and my motivation out on the water . I miss him that much that everytime i am on my raceboard i know he is on the water with me .

Well done Dusta for setting it up mate ,I have a little understanding of how Marc's passing in such tragic circumstances has affected you. You have done something for Milo that you can be really proud of.

IMHO the legends are the kiting community from all around the world who have given so generously..........bloody well done!!!

Despite all the rabble and trolling that forums provide, THIS is a great example of how community can get together in a selfless cause. Dusta, you are a champion for do this and it really warms my heart that so many people went out of their way to help one of the crew, even if most of us never knew the man. Well done. If I ever meet you in person, a meal and few cold ones are on me.
