Picked up a 2019 Cabrinha bar

Left side of bar (EVA foam) is white, QR (some plastic) is white and left pigtail (spectra) is yellow.
Who knows the best way to make these all red (prefer this for quick reference/safety reasons)?
Thinking:
Spectra pigtails -www.knotandrope.com/products/maxi-jacket-coating
EVA bar + QR -
Sharpie paint marker
Any ideas?

That would be confusing! I often rely on seeing the red on the left. I don't think any paint style product will last long and will likely make a mess of your new bar. I would suggest utilizing red heat shrink tubing around your leader line which can bought in lots of different gauges from Jaycar. You could even get some wider gauge to slip over and shrink onto the left hand float. Heat shrink tape is also available but I've never used it.
I used mountain bike adhesive grip when I was rebuilding an old bar Id stripped down. Stuck it on with some contact adhesive and it lasted the (second) life of the bar. Maybe you could find red?
red electrical tape?
Is it really that big of a deal, didnt think that many bars on the market actually have the left side of the bar red in colour.
Just reinforce it in your mind "white on the left"![]()

White rhimes with Right that'll f### him
Can someone explain why you have a left and right anyway. Aren't all bars symmetrical and the QR spins independently
Thanks for thoughts.
Snalber - Heat shrink on line protectors above floats is a good idea (assume that heat won't damage lines?)
Chris-M - yeah good idea - maybe could put a couple of bands on over top existing grip
CJ -surely eleccy tape just washes off?
Cheers for the 'helpful' sayings!
Pretty sure best safety idea is no work arounds and just look to see red hey
Sandfoot - that'd be correct if kite had 2x leading edges so could fly it off either side
Thanks for thoughts.

Thanks for clearing that up lol

I'm progressing on the multi spinny thingies and I get confused about which way my bar is facing because Core decided to be trendy and go with white and yellow. Red on the left just makes sense, should be a standard feature, a number of my crashes could have been avoided with this

You might of connected the left line to right hand side of the kite.???

No, I'm just looking for red. In my mind white and yellow don't mean anything

when a euro instructor tells a student to pull the right side of the bar when kite is going left and student thinks pull the white side of the bar

For me knowing that red should be on the left (or whatever designated colour should be on the left) can allow quick saves if responded to quick enough. Saves include avoiding tomahawking your kite and keeping your kite in the air, especially in marginal conditions. It comes into play more when looping or doing rotations and losing grip of the bar. Red on the left is not an industry standard per se but more do than dont have it that way. Bars are symmetrical and will work either way but having instant recognition of the correct left and right side of a bar with twisted lines is advantageous.
Unsure what less helpful.
Kite bar design or chat on sbrz.
Jokes, you guys are all crack ups
I'll buy it off you for $50. problem solved.

It's your job to get it correct. Or you will get spanked one day. Mainly after a crash where you get dunked. Reach up for the bar and if you pull the wrong side... Instant kiteloop.

Good. Learn the hard way, learn fast.
