Hope everyone is making the most of the summer northerly's!
I really need some advice regarding the 2014 Naish Parks. I am looking to buy myself 2 parks but am unsure of the wind ranges between the different sizes. Cant seem to find it on the Naish website or any gear reviews for all the kites sizes.
Can anybody help me? Wanting to know the wind ranges for the 10m, 12m and 14m. Not sure if it helps but I am around the 100kg mark.

At 100 pies i would go a 12 with the park as you main kite in 17 to 25 knot range.I have only flown the park once.seems like a great alrounder ,but i would not bother with the bigger version like the 14m there not great light wind kites.A race kite is better for light wind.consider a board quiver of a high wind board and a bigger board with not to much rocker as a light wind board.
For your size I would be getting the14m and 10m
Have got the same and a 8m however I'm a bit lighter
The 14 is good up to around 20 knots + , plenty of de power
The onto the 10, the twelve is a waste IMO for your size

I'm 100kg and riding 10/14 rpm similar to the park. Have a 142 misfit and 132 darko. I mowed the lawn on the 14 and misfit the other day in 10-12 knots. It's great up to 20 knots then I rock my 10m. I'm happy with that combo and it's mainly the 2 kites I riide hope this helps a wee bit
It's hard for a manufacturer to estimate the wind range of a kite as no matter what they state it will be different for most riders.
Maybe let us know what kite model and sizes you currently use and I can compare that for you.
Hi. For your weight 10/14 for sure. At 74 Kilos I ride with 8/10/12 2014 Parks. The 8 has almost the same power of the 9 2013 and an amazing wind range, the 12 is like a truck but still good when the wind picks up! The 10 is very fast in the flight wind and has both a great lift and hang time. Overall this year the Park has simproved a lot especially in waves. I'm very happy with this kite.

Got another question for you all... So, I went ahead and bought the 14m Park with universal control bar with below the bar depower and took it for a burn this arv. While riding, when letting go of the bar (by accident) i noticed that the bar was then too far out of reach and having to pull in on the trim lines to get the bar back. I noticed the bar and lines has a fixed stopper on the trim lines. Can the fixed stopper be relocated so that it acts as a usefull stopper? Can I undo the screws and relocate it or do I need to pull the lines thru to where I need it? By doing this, will this effect depower of the kite?
G'day NKB1, I had the same issue with my 2014 parks with the universal bar system. They deleted the sliding stoppers for this bar in 2014 for some strange reason. I always found the sliding stoppers really helpful. You will note on the trim line 3 red marks. I think the fixed stopper is located adjacent to the red mark furthermost away from the bar out of the factory. You can use these red marks as references and you are free to adjust them to whatever distance suits. FYI, the allen key required to adjust the fixed stopper is the same size as your standard FCS Fin Key. Obviously, the closer the fixed stopper is to you, the less de-power you will have.
As an alternative, you can purchase from Naish a sliding stopper (worth around $20 each), to limit the throw on the trim line. They are not as good as the old ones though and are now called a 'Cruise Control'. Pure marketing genius....
