A guys lines were cut by a shark (heard it was a tiger) up at mullaz...it jumped through the lines when the kite was in the water. Apparently 'biting' through the line but i'd guess its rough skin might be able to cut through one? I'm surprised that it made the news without popping up here first.

Ummm no surprise really.
I was kiting down there on Friday when he had the run in with the offender, I don't think there would have been much or any chance attack on him when there was a better meal as in the whale to munch on, even though It was a real buzz on the beach listening to him replaying the close call, he was tripping on adrenaline.
Yep Cheynes beach is notoriously sharky yet an amazing place to kite, check out this fella washed up last year.
Lots of schooling fish and whales frequent this great beach, so if your there beware, and back to the board real quick.
Was out yesterday at my local beach did a big tack on the way back in saw this thing hooking it under my board, thought f@$k, then realised it was a dolphin and it raced me for a few hundred meters then popped up for air. Just took the Go pro of my lines to so was spewin would have been awesome footage.
