Hi,
I injured myself badly at beach 3, Woodmans point yesterday Wednesday 2/12/15. I had to leave it behind drifting across the bay. My name Megan Bell and mobile 0448696384 is written on the board. A reward of a ctn or gift voucher for anyone that hopefully finds and returns it.
Thankyou

will let you know if I see it drift past Megsy. Should be camped on the point by next week so if it goes past we should see it.

Sorry to hear. Did you get airlifted out by the RAC chopper? Saw one land just as I pulled into the car park. Hope it wasn't too serious.

Yeah that was me :( Open fracture, protruded skin, smashed heel bone, will need surgery and a plate to keep it all together. Guttered but the painkillers are great :)

A traumatic accident scenario and horrific injury for anyone.Especially when you never expect it when leaving home. Good luck in your recovery Megan..

Hi!
I was attempting a trick and kooked it and came down hard landing on my right foot in the shallows, straight onto my heel which then shattered and protruded all the tissue around my ankle and swelled up pretty badly. Managed to get my kite in, land it and dragged myself to the shore and waved down a guy who was walking along the beach to get me some help! Ouchies looking at 12 week recovery

Haha! Didn't think of that, think I was sidetracked, haha! That's the second board I've lost now due to being a kook! I'll learn one day

The C-17 wouldn't have been able to land at Woodies

Hope you have a speedy recovery Megsy and get back out on the water again soon! .

Haha actually it was a chopper from beach 3 to the carpark to the ambo van. The ambos didn't want to carry themselves or me down the beach I guess ??? Def a waste of resources, think it was a 23 second chopper ride

Take it easy on strong painkillers endone, tarjin, tramadol, lyrica, panadin forte.
A great release when in sufficient trauma.
Unecesary prolonged use and in no time you will be talking incoherent jibberish.
