Hey
I have now lost my board twice. It not that i cant body drag to it, its that i cant see it when its upside down. Luckily i have got back both times but the last time it ended up the other side of the swan river..
Does anyone have any advice? Im not up for a leash due to general consensus but i thought that the Go Joe may be a good idea.. I know it looks kinda spastic but im not up for replacing my board..

Does anyone know where i can source a Go Joe out of Perth??

Cheers

People lose boards in the river due to the glare on the water in the arvo. Sun sets in the west so looking back upwind to locate your board blinds you. Looking downwind is crystal clear though.

So, when you crash generally your board is upwind of you. Keep body dragging until you get level to it or pass it. You will be able to spot it the moment it's not upwind of you, even from a long way off.

If you can't see it and have 'lost' it, keep dragging son, it's just upwind and hidden by glare.

Cowboy

Im sure westozkiteboarding Rockingham sell them ... Gason 0411510514 ?

or just tie a small orange polystyreene buoy to your board handle - it protrudes the board up just enough to eliminate the dissappering board act tacky n cheap but it works..

Hope this helps Cheersz
