My sis is in London ATM an said there was an article in the paper about ol mate who jumped Brighton pier. (old news I know) but apparently he now wants to jump London bridge? WTF? is this even possible?
Not possible.
To get the right direction to jump the bridge the wind would be coming straight from the the East End /Canary Wharf which has too many big buildings to ever get solid wind.
London Bridge is actually a smaller bridge, Tower Bridge is the one on the postcards.
Even kiting on the Thames is pretty tricky. Jason Furness did it ages ago (2002) in front of the Houses Of Parliament for a bit of fun.

So jumping the Bridge would be almost impossible.
Not to mention a raging tide and dodging a million boats that use the thames on a daily basis... even if the wind did cooperate it would be a logistical nightmare.. Stopping traffic going over that bridge would shut half the city down... Im goin with not possible...
London Bridge was moved to Arizona. Doesn't look too hard compared to the pier imho ![]()
