Just noticed that google earth has upgraded the satellite imagery for Eagle Island, which is on Eyrie reef about 6km from Lizard and has a great flat water spot behind the cay. Now excellent resolution and you can really see all the detail of the reef and the cay.
The little sandbars down the south end of the reef are also very good.

I am back up there with Bretto from Windswell and a boat load of amped kiters from August 23rd till August 30th.

there is a local crew on lizard now called " Pirate Kiteboarding Lizard Island". watch out all visitors they pirate kites/boards and anything they can get...[}:)]
what about the kooks dude? oh luckily there are none on lizard is... no poisonous snakes and spiders on lizard...
