Well not only are we concentrating on developing the sport through a large array of activities including clinics, camps and guided riding sessions, we at Liquid Force Kite Australia want to see the best in the sport get their chance to ride against each other and re-build the Aussie scene. Being such a strong brand in both wake and kite it makes sense to have Liquid Force lead this charge, as having the ability to partner with cable parks and linear cable systems giving a no wind option will see a vary different comp scene emerge!! Check out the flyer, this year is starting with a two stop calendar but the plan will be to develop this into a much larger comp tour culminating into a major title event, get in and support it as Liquid Force is really trying to support kiteboarding!

Great news from Chris and Liquid Force, watch out for a stop to be added in Sydney in the near future!
Sounds great Chris so glad someones trying to get some comps up and running - can i ask why December 27th - 29th? traveling around that times got to be almost impossible
Hell yeah this sounds awesome. Is it open to kooks because I'd love to have a crack. I've got trucks and a truck licence if you need help setting up a Sydney event.
I have had a few people ask about dates and why December so close to xmas and New Year etc, the truth is with all of the Liquid Force events going on across Australia these were the only dates left! It is really a trial year, we are planning to have them more regularly throughout the kiting season and also once more cable parks open across the land we will add more comps as we really want the no wind option as this obviously gets riders doing what it is they love; but it is a kite event and the points awarded on kite are double those awarded on winch or cable!
So for the guys who are really wanting to come and travel is the issue, I apologise. But may be you can make the one in Feb on the Sunny Coast as I would love to see as many riders get back into the comp scene and have fun doing it. These will be the lowest key comps but at the end of the day they are comps and there will be a winner! Next year, if these go well, we will add more dates and more destinations!
