So I'm looking at the calendar here, and thinking that if I take just 3 days off work between Easter and Anzac day, I will end up with 10 straight days off work. April 18 - 27th.
So with that in mind, what would be your ultimate kiting destination at this time of year? I want somewhere consistently windy and warm, yet no more than 6 hours flying time from Sydney (OK 8 if it's totally worth it).
FNQ? Exmouth? Lord Howe is? Fiji? New Cal? Anyone else planning a kiting holiday then?
Cheers
Not a good time to plan a kiting holiday, not too sure about the others but I would cross Exmouth off the list.

North Queensland gets first trade winds. PNG would be nice option too. Hula village always cranks then
I m actually asking the same question, i have 2 weeks OFF from the 23th of april and don't know where to go to get some wind...
Any idea?

I'm going to be in Maui, solo, from the 26th of April. Looks like there is going to be plenty of wind. Already booked accomodation and hired a car but if you're keen you should head to Hawaii. Looks like it will be cranking, the food situation sounds amazing, and there looks to be lots to do for windless days.
