Just wanting to know if there is a place to get equipment that isn't the latest - i.e. 2009 models.
Wanting new and assuming that it is considerably cheaper.
Help would be appreciated.
or buy and sell on here. A fair few kite shops and sponsored riders etc sell year old, new gear right here.
Most if not all of us kite retailers have access to excess stock of the importers.
there are sometimes new kites from the last, and even before, season that are great specials. So go to your local kite shop and ask them to find out.
i was looking for the same thing, but was a tad disapointed as lot of local retailers didn't have much old year stock in gear that i wanted... searching online for other kite shops around the oz did the trick... call lots of them til you find a bargain...
depending on what you are looking for, check out the manufacturer website and search for all australian dealers of X brand, then call and ask for last year stock specials...
if you are extremely lucky, you can find new or almost new last year kites on Buy&Sell here...
but why? They are last year, they are useless and this years are way better. You won't look cool on the beach if you don't have the latest gear.
