Just booked to go to Langkawi in two weeks spur of the moment thing does anyone know if they have a kite area near by or if they kite there at all 
Forget it mate. No wind there. Been there 3 times for family holidays never any wind. Just enjoy, its a great spot.
My dad lives there 6 months of the year, you get a bit of wind at the North of the island certain times of the year but you will be the only kiter there. Generally calm, humid with nothing to do.
No wind, but the ladyboys are very friendly.
Convincing almost also.
