Newcastle riders -

For those interested a bunch of us will be doing a downwinder today from Marmong Point to Bonnells Bay. Straight (path) distance is about 22km - basically the entire length of Lake Macquarie. Might play around a bit at sandy islands but otherwise straight through.

Meeting at 3pm today all welcome. I can be contacted on 0413 007 050 if you want more info.

Cheers
Justin

Really well. Was quite fun having an array of colour charging down the lake. My brother saw a shark between pulbah and shingle splitters, and there was some difficulty with board retrieval around sandy islands with the outgoing tide, but all in all fun for everyone!

Another one we did last week which was also a lot of fun was gravleys (basically Norah head) to The Entrance. Highly recommended that one too, some amazing swell particularly at Pelos.
