Im looking to buy a new kite, I am currently riding an 08 9m Cabrinha Convert... Its too slow, doesn't feel smooth like other kites I've flown do and stalls really easy, thinking this is because its too small for the winds i fly it in.
Im living on the Sunshine Coast, QLD its not all that windy, generally around 15 knots. I weigh about 56kg. Im riding a fir bit of freestyle in river mouths, however i live on the beach and often find myself riding my twin-tip in the surf... So I'm looking at riding a surfboard too.
Can someone tell me the ideal kite for me.
I like the Liquid force Havocs, though i was reading on another post that the some people found the Envy's way better... what'd u think? Also I've flown a few Switchblades and I love them too. I heard that F1 Bandits are really good too, fast and lots of power.
What would be the best kite for me riding varying styles in a lot of light wind stuff.
Thanks

that is a question I have been huming and haring over for a while now but in the new kitboarder they give review on those kites
Best bet is to demo them. I love the envy and would recomend it to anyone but other people might not like it. Definately doesn't have stalling or falling problems, one of few that don,t. Flys further forward than the havoc and has bundles of power. Give it a go.
the havoc was my first kite but it wasnt for me now i have a envy and i love it it is good for just riding and frestyle i cant say anyting about the switchblade cause i havnt used one . I think the best thing to do is try differant kites and choose whitch one is best for you ![]()
you cant go wrong with a 10 envy its one of the nicest all round kites i have ever used. imo it was faster and boosted better than the havoc and is a better kite for unhooking than the switchy and bandits
