I am after some advice. Got the 4 lines LF with a new swivel and would like to use it as 5 lines on an older HiFi kite.
Nothing in a manual about the conversion. I think the 5th line on HiFi is under tension. But going than through a swivel must have something in between, a small ball or something? Not much space tho.
Can anyone advice please or better take a photo?

The five line swivel is modified it has a drilled bold ant nut setup through the center
Wainman will have there fifth line kits soon similar swivel interesting to see the stop setup on that
Failing that the switch kites swivel will work as a replacment
Sorry, didn't mention, the above one is a 2013 swivel, no bolt and nut on that one...Replacement for what tho? Works excellent with 4 lines.

The 4 and 5 line swivels are a little bit different as pedleym stated. Dunno if the 4 line swivel will work as 5 line will have to have a look in the morning.
Pretty sure blue safety/bungee line should connect to 5th line which goes through middle of the swivel.

Now we talking! Thanks! I was under impression they are exactly the same. On the 4 lines kite tho, the bungee goes through the middle as well.

So the 5th line is a bit different to the other lines and the hole in the center swivel is a lot larger on the 4 line.
What you could try to do is pull the front safety line out through the side of the swivel and use that as the 5th line (leave it running through the middle of the swivel). Then just get a new front line and attach it to the side of the swivel. You might have to check the line length for the 5th line through.
Our 5 line bar is taken apart at the moment so not 100% sure if this will work.
Ok, thanks for your reply, will try that. In 4 lines setup, the blue bungee goes through the middle, no probs with that. It is not the problem to run a 5th line as well. But the tension is a problem, since too much slack is a not good for the HiFi. I remember reading something about a mini ball on a bungee with a 5 lines.
