Any advice/info of kite spots in the Pacific Islands , will be in fiji May/June but want to go somewhere close after possibly the Cook Islands/noumea/raratonga, open for some good advice prefer to stay on the spot if possible. Cheers
Its colder then cyou think and take big kites most the locals in the cooks have 13meters
And grab yaself a muri burger
Rarotonga at Muri beach 12 m kite accommodation there as well Lots of restaurants Free bus around island Or hire motorcycles or car Have kited other side but lot of coral boulders Aitutaki yes amazing too see But need more money $600 ,$700 to fly there and boat to get out too kiting spot Great spot for flat water kiting both spots
Oh and one last thing
I wouldnt consider anywhere in the south pacific or australia a "kiteing destination" well maybe wa with the pond and the fremantle doctor but everywhere else is ****
If you want to go to a proper kite spot figure out where its actually consistently windy
Sailora like to cruise around in trade winds of like 10 15 knots ideally a kite spot is more like 15 to 25 consistent either due to a cranking set your watch to it seabreeze effect or some other meteorological wind effect like monsoons trade winds etc etc theres a bunch of winds with names to them i suggest start there.... actually lets ask ai where all the winds with names are

Youll find half the begginers and kooks just think a good kite spot is wherever some people decided they could make some money by makeing people go there for a kite surfari and to be honest theyre always drastically over priced by nature cause people have to be paid and the locations are always at an increased expense.
If i was you and wanted to acfually go to a good kite spot follow the instructors trail generally we will bounce around season to season where ever we can get work which generally means more students but sometimes you can find yourself running a resort etc which means youll get some other fun **** to do like teach diving or sailing etc
I reckon id be pretty bored of kiteing after a few weeks in the south pacific kiteing unless i had my own boat and ive done it for a couple years but theres proper kitespots where i could see myself kiteing there for decades
Id avoid any islamic countrys for one thing but a place like philippines has enough extra curricular activitys to stay occupied for lifetimes and is sooo much cheaper you just might be able to afford to do that.
Unless you loose your kites on a cockfight with el monstro gone wrong
