Hi! Thinking of going to Samoa to try to find some surf and wind. Has anyone been there, any reports on kiting there in October and where to go?

mate im heading to Tonga for 10 days and Samoa for ten days in september!
cant find much on either place but will let you know as soon as i get back!!
I am sure axis kiteboarding was just in tonga, dealer meeting/release
I seen pics of were they stayed, looked like they kited from the beach, even had some whales out the front
send them an email or talked to a local axis dealer or search for them and see if they they mention anything about were they stayed in a blog or press release etc.Also Cindy mosy has spent some time there taking people on here boat a few years ago.

Yep the were! they were at a place called Kite Tonga, its not been built yet.

i have been on a kiting exploratory to savaii/samo a few years back and have to say trades are not as strong as fiji where i live as samoa is nth and they come in for a few hours a day in the afternoon and disappear.. also most beaches are rocky and sharp very few long sandy beaches for launching..but the surf is good esp later in the year dec/jan winter nth swells...and this year even fiji has had intermittent trades in july/aug with 50% of the days or less with consistent winds..
