Hi this is my first time using the forum, i was wondering if anyone knew about kiting in Thailand, i was looking to go in April next year.
Or any other options for April close to Australia that has consistent wind, warm and not to expensive way of life, as i want to stay for a month with as much kiting as possible. thanks

Really, yr only option is Hua Hin (2hrs drive SW of Bangers) when the NE trades die and the thermals kick-in ...

Last year was crap due to the La Nina (but it was the same for everywhere) ... the year before was awesome !

The thermals can start-up mid-March and last up till the end of May in a good season

went to koh samui in early May a few years ago for a wedding, didn't plan on kiting, but took my gear just in case i struck it lucky.
Had some really good 20 plus days. Lots of reef though, so you have
to hunt around for a spot, but the islands not that big.
watch out for the he she's there everywhere !
