has anyone been to Wakatobi?
any waves to kite surf there?

... one of our crew is there now and I've asked him how's it going but connectivity down,,, i.e. he's turned the satphone off,,,, me thinks he's gett'n some! Anyway, will let you know when I know!

There would be wind there I cant inagine any waves definitely no swell must be the time of year when there all fasting. Better off going to nhulunbuy. Loving the wham

But I guess there no waves at darwin...... ever is there robbie ?25 knot wind some deep sea and shallow reef should be something when we went through there it was dive wakitobi nice but better places on the planet. Achea top of sumartra indian ocsan and wind .....nice WISH I COULD KITE WHEN WE WENT THROGH THERE! ... theres a place called little bondi in east arnhem land going off last friday no wind or waves in the territory though..... just crocidiles....loving the wham

... not quite no waves in Darwin at the moment,,,,, shock horror,,,, had some little waves at Lee Point so is not all bad! Didn't you get the Whip,,,, not the WAM?

To the original question from Vman, mate whose there now confirms no waves, flat water and plenty enough wind, up to 20 knots,,, the place is as nice as advertised.

Yes it is the whip a great little board turns on a dime really bad week coming up here no blue arrows after Monday for a week big low in the bight.
