Hi People,
My name is Marcus and I am a newbe so please excuse. Anyway I went down for a Kitesurf yesterday (friday 15th Jan 2010) around 1:30pm and I shot some film of Kitsurfing at Caloundra bar before going out myself.
Now this is my first attempt at a kitesurfing video so no dought I can improve on this one as I intend to do meny more in the years to come, so please feel free to let me know what you would like to see and what you don't like about the video.
Good work - some nice footage - it shows the area well.

it has one of my mates doing gay little tricks on his surfboard - which just goes to show you you have to be careful what you do - he had no idea this was captured
Couple of pointers. From someone that doesn't know these people, no-one cares what old-mate has to say or what size kite or diameter lines they are using. Cut stuff so each clip goes for no more than 10 seconds so there's always something changing. Don't use infomercial music.

Hey good effort for first time love the position in the first half up on the hill gives a very good picture view . Keep at it also keep the vid on you to show others how you are progressing but not a hole vid of it could get boaring .
Thanks heaps guys for the input and comments, yer the music, well, thats a hard one, I spent more time working out what to put with it than it took me to edit it. Youtube will mute my clip if I use other peoples music so I don't have much to choose from. The one I settled on was a generic one that comes with the editing program, believe me their wasn't much to chose from, lol.
Now that I look at the video again I can see where to improve, I think, lol.
Lest hope for a big narly day so I get some more great footage and create some awesome vid's.
Hope someone gave the knob with the Waroo an uppercut ,**** like thats going to get the sport banned......If there had have been a bit more wind that guy would have ate some rocks or worse cleaned up some kids!!!

Hahaha, no probs, I'll keep my eye out for you guys...I went up to Maroochydore river mouth yeasterday (Sunday) at about 1:30 but I didn't see anyone I knew, where do you kite on a NE wind? Down wind beach run I'm guessing?
I took some vid while I was their so I'll post it up as soon as I can,

Hahaha..yer he was having a bad day...he told me that someone cut him off going down wind and he wasn't impressed.
