Hi, I'm also waiting to try and register 1 kiter + 1 non-kiter, dont want to miss out! The websites still wont open....

Been hanging for this since I missed out last year, and I'm doing a 2 week west coast kite trip culminating in Kitestock. Any other way to book tickets?

Nic

Be patient grasshopper, I'm sure Alex is all over it like a fat kid on a cheesburger.

I also missed last year, had to go to a wedding in South Australia of all things, wasn't even stuck out on a mine as per my usual excuse. Not going to be stuck out on a mine for this one either, I've already told them that if I'm rostered on that weekend they're just going to have to fly me out for kitestock, no negotiation will be entered into. I think threatening to resign helped...

4 days in Dongara will have more wind than the entire east coast summer.

Not counting the gusty rainy overcast cyclonic stuff over Christmas of course...

Like I told you in our pillow talk the other night Liz, you will get more enjoyment and happy memories from 4 days in Dongara than a whole year having the latest kite. I rode my 04 kite until 07 and kited four different countries in that time.

Hey Liz,

I missed out last year too due my wife being admitted to hospital at the very last minute before we left.

We did do a week up at the site previous to the first Dongara Kitestock and the conditions are excellent. Lots of wind, lots of space, nice little waves for doing ridiculously long surf downwinders..... Oh the memory.

Hope you can come over. There really is no place like WAAAAAAAAA eh?

Good winds,

Apologies to everyone trying to book for KITESTOCK 2008.

Our web hosting company has had some issues which they are now resolving, they expect everything to be back to normal within the next 24-48 hours.

Thank you for your patience.

hello fello kiters, just got back from catching up with the rellies in dongara.
first 3 days 25 knots in the morning to 30-35 knots by the end of the day, next 2 days very hot no wind went surfing, next 3 days wind back to 20-30 knots and on one of those days it was gusting up to 40 knots by the end of the day.

dongara has it all, most days surf in the morning kite in the arvo with kms of beach to have fun and some nice reef breaks for the adventurous.

keep and eye on the forecast as we get closer as you more than likely will need small kites.

cheers

Spend around $1500 on KiteStock, travel, travel bags and all other things included.....

you should be able to do kitestock on half that from the east coast!?

~400-500 return from syd, 120 for kitestock, its a cheap bus trip to dongara about 130 return? (if ur a student its about 40 bucks each way) then some cheap accomo? dunno what ur air fair to syd is but should be cheap as?!

You guys there been before... What to do!!!??

Some people are happy to spend money and only have memories to show for it.....
Other folks want something tangible in their hot little hands after parting with the cash.
Maybe Elizabethb is the latter.
Are you a material girl, Liz ?

Unfortunately our web hosting company decided to reboot our mail servers without warning causing this error.

Everything should be working fine now.

1 month to go! Almost. A couple of hours and it will be. I set my roster for it today, and gave myself a day off on the Monday afterwards too .

Bugger!!

My selfish yob mate decided to get hitched in Qld in April, so all available fundies getting me there instead of kitestock (again). He just didn't see the value in moving his wedding forward and to Dongara. What is with some people???
