Hey guys!
Just arrived to Broome with my kitegear. Wind is looking great(21-25 knots ESE) the next days, but don't know where the best kite-spots is? Should i worry about the tides? Anyone willing to share some information/experience? :)
Cheers!

Town beach is just about the only place to kite this time of year with the Easterlies. You'll most likely bump in a few locals they'll give you the low down. More room in the water for kiting at high tide but works in low tide as well. Gets pretty on-shore sometimes so beach launching/landing area can be small at high tide with people around gets a bit tight sometimes so be careful...be careful about rocks (south part) and mangroves (you can see them easily on google maps earth view), and also look out for crocs!
The boys will be there sat morning so just come over & introduce yourself. If your going before that as cbulota said don't get yourself the other side of the mangroves, it's nothing but grief, also if the wind starts getting any north in it landing & Launching can get pretty tricky. The wind is usually a few knots lighter than forecasts. There's heaps of tourists around so please be careful as this is one of the only spots during easterlies.
See ya there
Hi jorgan, will be out 2morrow morning @ town beach you want a kite. Also planning to head 2 a nice secret spot friday morning if you up for a kite on a dead flat logoon in the middle of nowhere.
