If any of you are interested here's part two of my kite wakeskate sessions videos. Cataloguing a few sessions in South Australia with a little flat bar I built, hopefully it provides some motivation for those out there lacking! It's not too long so hopefully you won't be bored!

Whoops! I meant "I like the slider shove its". I can hardly shove it on flat water, no way I'm landing that off a slider.
I guess I should read what I write. Having said all that, I like to make the beer drinking too.
Sir, where in south oz is that locash?
It looks like the western part of South Australia... the far western...
Murcherson river mouth.
I do like the vid, the sk8 is very slick.
What was the conversation with the camera man like at the 58 second mark?
Film me walk up to the rail, then when I turn around, focus onto my eyes and let me hold that stare like lovers.
Hey rowdy, can you do that **** on a skateboard as well? ![]()
Yeah, well at least I have in the past, haven't been on the board in a bit though
.
Back to the edit... I really like the sound of your board "slapping" the water. It really gives you a sense that you are actually there watching you kite. This is what separates it from the standard kite edits and puts it on another level from every other video. Nice one Hiro.
Cheers guys. I purposely purchased a good mic and wind muff for this reason a while ago, this was the first time I could ever really get someone to film with it though haha. I agree that it adds nicely to the vid. I want to try and use it more in the future.
Rail is actually super simple, I could set it up and put it away by myself which was kind of the goal. It's made from 2x 6m lengths of wood decking ontop, supported by coppers logs cut in half (semi circles) underneath, with 100mm PVC T sections with the top cut off so they sit over the coppers logs. Then the legs are obviously just 100mm pieces of PVC pipe pushed into the sand and into the T sections. If you wax the top it will last a long time.
I gave it to the groms down there when I left so we will see how long it lasts them

Pretty sure it went something like,
"Am I in focus?",
"Don't f$ck it up".
