Hey fellow kiters!!!
Just a quick update, we've been super busy here at Kitelife and the start of summer has been hectic!!! First up we went to the Corona in Merimbula for an epic event!!! SUPing, kiting and great crew and parties!!!
Obviously we are there to film, but lately and with the help of others, we've been snapping off a few stills, so here's a link to some still for a preview of some of the action yet to come on Season 3 of Kitelife...

After the Corona Classic, we headed to the Gold Coast for the final stop of the PKRA.
It was the first time the event and tour has come to Australia, so it was great to see so many locals there supporting the event, even giving the best in the world a run for their money, none more so than all round good guy and now World Champ Andy Yates and his support crew.
Filming Andy a few years ago for the first series of Kitelife was a pleasure and it's great to see that his hard work has paid off. If you haven't seen him ride for yourself yet, make a point of checking out some of his footage or event tuning into season 3 of Kitelife, it has to be said, he's ripping!!!! Onya Andy!
Props to the event organizers and sponsors for pulling of a great event considering the amount of rain and little wind we had, next year should be epic!
Here's some pics from that one....

Then we came back to sunny, rainy, snowy, windy, sunny all in one hour Melbourne for the Cabrinha KBV 2010 kiteboarding championships. With the best judges going round, Toby Bromwich - former PKRA Judge & now official PKRA photographer and it's no wonder, his shots are amazing, PKRA rider from Italy Alberto Ronaldino(?) and Seabreeze's own and Kitelife's new presenter Alex "Rowdy" Lewis Hughes.
The event setup was awesome as it was being run in conjunction with the ISAF and World sailing cup and Sail Melbourne. There was three categories of race divisions - directional, twin tip & race board, with the award ceremony being held in conjunction with the World Cup sailing presentations at Sandringham Yacht Club. I'd love to see a kiteboarding club have a setup like that one day!!!
Props again to the organizers and sponsors for getting it done, especially to Kate from Sail Melbourne, Huddo from Cabrinha, Ivan from SHQ, Campbell & Hook from KBV and all the riders for turning up and having a crack.
Again here's a link to some images for that one....

The day after the Vic event finished, we organized a road trip, taking Alby, Keahi, Aden, Lewis, Huddo & Trent to some sweet waves on Phillip Island, unfortunately I lost my GoPro there, so no chase footage - sidenote, anyone finds it (should be in about 2m of water off Right Point) you can have it, just hook me up with a copy of the footage! I did go back there with dive gear the next day, but alas no joy.
After a wave session that lasted hours with cranking 30knots, we packed up, grabbed some food and headed to Inverloch where we met up with Dalton, Natalie, Dean and a couple of other riders for and EPIC freestyle session!!!
Those pics are on their way.... if you go to our Kitelife page on facebook

So that's about it for now, enjoy the piccies, have a safe and Merry Christmas and we'll film you in the new year.... yeeeeeewwwwwwwwww!!!!!
Big props to Huddo, Gary Beccus, Lewis Back, Rowdy, Toby, Keahi, Alby, Mel, Andy, Troy Gibbo, Trent, Jeremy and everyone else for chipping in, helping out and getting it done!!!
