Newby to the forum, stumbled across website whilst trawling thru ebay. Looking to take up the sport but have no idea where to start. Would like lessons first before I start buying equipment (wife's suggestion). Live in Ballina Shire, so if anybody can give me contacts for lessons in nthn nsw and/or goldie it would be appreciated. Have surfed for 38yrs (so have got that sorted) and wakeboarded for 3yrs (getting there) so hopefully I will have a chance of getting up on a board. Cheers 
Another suggestion is Glen from Xshore. I drove up from Sydney to Forster to get a lesson from him because he did me such a good deal. Great bloke and has all the safety gear and kiting gear you'll ever need. There are some wicked learning spots at Forster also.
