....having your own fairground ride where you can stay on for as long as you want.

Is there any other sport that offers this much fun?

Any adrenaline sport that gets you operating in the "flow" zone gives you a similar buzz.

The best days I have mountain biking match the best days I have kitesurfing.

The best kitesurfing days match my best landkiting days...........

So to answer your questing yes. Other sports offer similar thrills.

I sit on my arm till my hand goes numb
Then play with myself whilst starting into a mirror
Wait....
What was the question again...?

Surfing, particularly in overhead barrells in remote indonesia, trumps everything (IMO)

Yeah surfing indo perfection is def up there. I was fortunate enough to have had keramas to myself for a while when I lived in Bali. Then they built the new road and word got out.

Nothing better than surfing world class waves with just a bunch of mates.

But what I love about kiting is the freedom and the power at your fingertips. If you feel like flying, just send the bloody thing.

Got to love power on tap.

Kiting has made me travel and seek out spots you wouldn't really bother to for just surfing. When you find a spot with that perfect wave and wind angle, mmmmmhhhh. And stealing waves off surfers is just so gratifying.

I'm yet to find a better feeling than waist deep virgin untracked powder on a bluebird day. Lasts longer than sex.

Yeah I've never been tempted by windsurfing either. It looks too 2d for my liking. I want to go up and fly through the air and land like superman on a window sill.

Was out the other day in a gusty 20-30 knot. the windsurfers were like mobile chicanes to go around. Puttering slowly round hardly ever on the plane.....

I like it all!

Well, I haven't really got into windsurfing yet, but would like to find a cheap rig for my SUP so I can muck around on that over my summer break when its not really kitesurfable.

Not sure why people feel the need to say one thing is better than another, your just not going deep enough/ steep enough/ high enough/ fast enough if thats the case
