Thats a good question mate. Right now it looks like it will be course racing ( windward/leeward) so foil kites and whatever boards go fast.

the Olympics is unwatchably boring, it's just a platform for countries and their propaganda machines.
Kiteboarding in the olympics is a bad bad thing.

I still think the best spectator sport would be destruction derby last kite standing or high jump, but over a bar like the pole vaulters use.
Just invent a new genre for the olympics it'd be classic
Kiteboard x would be sick. Kickers in the coarse and the ability to "accidentally knock" an opponent
Twin tip racing -boring as bat**** unless you can fit razorblades to your kite tips and slash competitors lines and kites
Kiteboarding big air like pole vaulting is the the only windbag offering that would be mainstream Olympic TV ....Gold for the sport and everyone!
