Thumbs Up

Kiteboarding has become more & more popular in the last few years what used to be 5 Kites of the beach is now 35 Kites plus & the restricted Zones certainly at Mullaloo provide a crowded playground at peak times.
What we don't need is to get banned from our zones due to the few who decide to take up kiting & have an hour lesson either from another blind man with little kite experience or a school & decide to hit the beach with no idea. A couple of incidents this weekend of kiters being dragged down the beach totally out of control. Bloody Crazy!! Kiting needs to be respected, it's a dangerous sport in the wrong hands & newbies need to know this. If you are not confident with a kite & clear on the safety aspect then take more lessons from a decent kite school who will drum home kite control & safety. You will enjoy this fantastic sport far more when your confident & in control & our Kite Zones will be for all to enjoy.
