fellas i dont ride with boots , but the forces placed on the plugs would be huge, maybe apply a low mod silicone to the base of boots thatll take around 80% of the load from the plugs, the gloss finish of your board should let you clean it off when required, i use this method with adhesives in construction with high load on fixings, just a thought, or find a brand that uses snowboard technology in their construction and materials
