KiteFoil vs MOD 70ft:

Yesterday was the first day of the D?fi Nautic challenge runs at @Grand Prix Guyader which showcases duels completely improbable and unique, between different classes, including for the first the Kite foil boards. Other classes include Moth and multi-million EURO multi-hulls 50 and 70 feet.
Yesterday the KITEFOIL for the first time, beat them all!

D?fi Nautic is 13 years running, a challenge created by the organization of the Grand Prix Guyader heavily dominated by the large open ocean racing boats. Their dominance was eroded run after run. After taking down the 50's the dual was one between Nico Parlier & MOD 70s Oman Sail, the largest and fastest of the big fleet valued at 2.4m Euro. Oman MOD 70: 30,5 knts AVG on 2.5 NM

Nico Kite foil (spotz-7m edge) : 30,47 sur 2.5NM
Nico also hit a Vmax for 38,5 and 35,5 knts.

And A BIG SHOUT OUT to our very own Eneour Puill Stephane who after the first day of challenges is currently in second place just behind Nico!!! GOOOOOO EN!!!
