Kite turns into a sheet 2

related to my last topic I posted,same thing happened on my 9m same brand .kite was pumped hard no twisted bridle.ive figured out it's just really gusty storm front wind .im kiteing Philippines and just before rain fronts hit wind kicks hard pushes top of kite down losers all shape felt scary for a second causes loss of control getting blown straight downwind to trees but Just wrestled kite to water it's ok .goes back to normal shape don't think it's related to type of kite just happens .saftey thought is stay close to beach to land when stormy rain clouds are coming have any one out there experienced this?

Only seen this when people try ride bridle less 4 line kites

This problem can flick the panic button very quickly.
I have had this happen to me several times on different size kites as well.
I now make sure the leading edge is drum tight when flying the kite in its upper wind range, I mean drum tight.
Fixed 90% of the problem straight away. the other 10% is if I was fully depowered in very gusty winds. I'm mean bullets coming through with cold fronts. I find if I pull a bit of power on helps heaps.
I'm well aware of the problem and select a kite accordling.

Understand the conditions

I won't be changing brand anytime soon!!!!
