Have you tried punctuation in your messages? They probably passed out from not breathing reading the whole paragraph at once.
As NoBS says. Buy local. If a deal is way too good to be true, it usually is. As for dealing with Paypal, usually no issue with refunds if the seller does not respond with set timeframes, so you will get your money back. If you used Western Union on the other hand, the money is gone.

Post link or pointless thread.

Oh, and punctuation is good

No one to complain to about dodgy websites. But PayPal are really good at sorting stuff out and resolving issues though can take a bit of time.

Just use websites that you know are legit.

Why buy local?
Customer service is rubbish.
Selection and whats available is terrible.
Product knowledge most of the time is non existent.
Prices are ridiculously expensive.

This isn't just kite shops but retail in general.
I buy online all the time for pretty much everything.

I got scammed by Chinese ebay seller on makita 18v power tool battery. It was a third of the price of original, advertised as genuine, so I knew it was either dodgy or a copy. Idiot me ordered 2 so splurged $60. When the tracking number seemed dodgey and postage time was extended beyond paypal dispute time, I immediately lodged dispute with ebay and paypal. Received full refund. 100's of people were scammed. No batteries were ever sent. I was lucky, getting refund early, but a lot of others dipped out as they just closed their paypal account. They were a power ebay seller with 99.9% positive reviews.
You're not going to get much sympathy here. Fact is though we all buy some products online now. You have to weigh up the risks. Your options are lodge a paypal dispute, and/or contact fair trading.

Post the website, we can play with them! They'll end up shutting it down themselves
