Hey, I have just moved to Sydney and looking for a bit of a advice some sports to go to. I'm living in Bondi and don't have a car yet. Looking for spots for rides during the day as I am don't start working for a few weeks and evening over the summer as well as weekend trip locations.
Looking for some flat water for unhooking and some waves as well. If anyone has a bit of a rundown of whats local that would be great.
If any local riders are heading out somewhere and I could jump in and grab a lift over the next couple of weeks please let me know.
Thanks,
Olie

It will be a hassle to get from Bondi to anywhere good for kiting without a car.
Hopefully someone offers to give you a lift.
The surfing isn't too bad at Bondi really, I would get more into that if I lived there.
Just remember not to surf on the northern, middle, or southern sections because it's banned.
(only the really southern section allows real surfboards)
The best option really if you're living in Sydney is to move away and start enjoying life.

Agree with that.
I lived in Sydney for a few years to work and surf, but didn't quite work out that way. Southern beaches Bronte/Bondi are shiite for surfing and summer there is no swell at all and bluebottles. Northern beaches put on good waves in the winter months though. Kitesurfing appears pretty limited in the metro areas, Sydney councils banning anything that's remotely fun.
