I have a 2007 Naish Torch 9m and Naish Raven 12m. My board is a 132 Naish Thorn. Will this be sufficient for Perth (Lancelin) during December? I usually kite at Bigbay, Cape Town. The wind is pretty strong there too and I am normally fine on a 9m.

how heavy are you? I'm 85kg and ride a 9m waroo, but am downsizing to 7m for this summer.

If you kite there on a 9m you'll be fine here too. You must be heavy like me.

I'm 80kg and was on a 9m with a 132, these seem to be the standard sizes for Perth summers from the gear I saw on the beach

I almost only rode my 9m but many times I wished I had a 7.
