Flying kites at 11-11:30 never used to happen pre 2006. Bows/SLE's/Hybrids made the lunchtime bog-squat on a kite too big possible. I find it amazing that in every other sport continued coaching now and then makes you better at the dicipline, yet kitesurfers do a few lessons and thats it. Many kitesurfers after 2 years dont know the basics, Apparent wind theory, how the wind window actually fluctuates due to gusts and how it will change during riding, how to self land safely and other basic competencies.
