Which 2016/2017 kite bar has the strongest, stiffest, anti-tangle lines?
you do realise you cant just use any kite bar with any kite right? apart from line lengths you also have to take into account where the center lines split. do some research google low v, high y etc etc then when your done with that just buy the bar that goes with the kite.
Yeah Miser, I was looking at getting shorter lines to replace my long lines which IMHO are too long.... Just wondering if I'd buy brand specific, or another kite brand, or just go with "no name" type lines?
buy shorter line set from the manufacturer of your kite.
unless its naish and they are only like 200KG for some inane reason then just buy a ozone line set :)
just be aware some bars have very very odd line lengths and your going to have to match the distances properly any part the lines deviate ala your centers should be as close to the originals as possible. 2m split centers vs 5m split centers does matter.
ultimately if you knew all this you wouldnt be asking and that would be fine. if you want me to walk you thru it your going to have to pay me :)

Flexifoil lines are the strongest I've seen on any brand, never had issues with ozones, both these brands lines have a core following of land kiting and para gliding where quality is a paramount
Switch for sure man
True, and you can get a kite with it too, all for less than the price of a clicky thing.
Thanks guys.
So to be more specific, I was thinking of switching my current 24m lines to 20, 21 or 22m. Would this help the (almost 1 second) delay when I pull the bar (hard) to turn? (once it's going through the window it's fine; just the initial delay). HELP ME! ![]()

Probably got more to do with your kite. What you using?
Yeah I'd check your kite bud... I've had drifters for years with no problem... if you can't figure it out yourself then take it to a shop or repair man for look... better than dropping coin on the lines to no avail...
Hey LGs
Ive neve flown a drifter, and as benny says it shouldn't be a problem, but you will find all bridled kites have a bit of a delay, not much and you will soon get used to it so it's not noticeable.
Also what size are you using and in what winds.
larger kites have more of a delay and are slower turning. If you are underpowered it will have more of a delay, also if over powered and sheeted in too much it will have a huge delay and turn slow.
iId also be looking at the bridal and the rear line attachment points for answers. Not the lines themselves, unless the rear have stretched a lot.

Right, cos Ozone makes their lines special in their own special factory and doesn't buy them in bulk from a manufacturer, like all the other companies like Naish and Ocean Rodeo

Slingshot apparently rate very highly, but both front and rear are white.
