Not in Australia but this guy is good. www.customkitelines.com

As an alternative, buy some 20m lines from Switch then splice them down to the length you want. They do 20, 12 and 3m line sets.

http://switchkites.com/parts/controller/flying-lines.html

For pig tails and safety lines and stuff then www.ropegalore.com.au/dyneema-r-high-strength-rope/ Just splice them to the length you want.

What I meant to say was ozone do a massive selection of different lengths
2, 5, 15, 20, 23, 25
So you can make
2, 5, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 22, 23, etc etc
A standard set of 23 is about $250, but these are 300 to 500 kilo breaking strength lines and most retailers that have them in stock will sell you a set to make up the 23/25 out of variable lengths for about the same price!!

Edit sorry was 1/2 asleep when putting the breaking kilos in, Toddy

Ozone lines will soon be available in the standard long lengths in half sets too. Keep in mind too that Ozone half sets too. You will be able to buy a pair of front lines or a pair of rear lines in the 15,20/23/25/27m lengths. Keep in mind too that Ozone use 500kg for the front lines and 300kg for the rears.
There are lots of alternatives but in my experience nothing from ebay, or any other "cheap" solution matches the quality and strength of the Ozone sets.

If the half sets ( both fronts or both rears as opposed to all or nothing) become available. ... why would I not decide to just buy 2 sets of rears at 500kg and use them for steering aswell.

Is there a downside to having all lines rated at 500kg?

Fronts are grey and have knots
Steering are coloured and have loops

take 2 seconds to change the pigtails over chief, only thing would be lobbing off the extra stopper balls

as for the parasitic drag...... veeeeerrrryyyyy minimal i dont even think it would be measurable.

When you spend over 50% more for something (of the same quality), you feel like they make you go sooo much better. Aussi retailers have our backs man, they are here to make us feel better about our activities. I'm sure they don't want to charge the prices, but they are doing it for us, so remember that and pay, pay and pay some more.

i have no idea why you quoted me? what you have said has nothing to do with any of the quoted discussion??

im talking about using center lines for all 4 so itll be 500 500 500 500 as opposed to 300 500 500 300 .......

honestly i was hoping to hear from a scientist or someone with a pocket protector to tell me something like the rears need to be weaker to neutralise the yawing so it would allways keep the aerofoil faceing towards the wind or something not some half assed rant about brick and mortar vs online ordering ?!?

Not very scientific but you would be better off buying 2 sets of fronts as they are 500kg. The backs are 300kg.

You need to get to your local shop, pay and they will explain. Nothing is free....except only a moron wouldn't know why the centre lines need a higher SWL.
