I'm after some advice please.

I have a Ukranian friend (think 'hard as the hammer, bent as the sickle') who just returned from a KSS in Egypt with 12 friends. He wants to do the same thing in Australia in December 2012 to celebrate his 40th birthday.

I've done a brief Google search which yielded very little.

Can I ask for any contacts please?

- We would be prepared to travel anywhere in Australia.
- Experience levels range from beginner to advanced.
- Ideally we would be based somewhere comfortable & over the course of a week visit different locations in the area.
- The Egypt trip involved a live aboard charter boat - that apparently worked very well.
- If no such operators exist yet in Australia, I would organise a vessel, guides/instructors etc myself.
- You may infer that the budget for this escapade would be adequate.
- I have never kite surfed & don't know anyone who does so in Australia.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts & appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Many thanks

AP

Nothing like that in australia during the summer time.

Being a beginner I would think you would be best to find some nice shallow sandy beach to learn the skills first then see how it goes.

Although I did see a boat in the middle of botany bay today with a beginner in tow
ALthough it probly wasnt a big enough boat to consider it as being comfortable

If you did it during the winter FNQ might have some shore based option available, and if you shelled out the cash you could even organise a crew on a boat, sh!t I would even consider helping
