+++ x Eleventy done a few trips over the last few years always had great wind, great location, great people ( some a bit naughty ) and plenty to do. After just a few days there you feel like you have been away 2 weeks.

awesome

Bali is great for kiting.... if you're from Darwin. if you're from perth you may be a tad dissapointed... personally i love it. we spend (at least) a month there every year. have a zephyr, a 14 and a 12, (100 kg) which i use about 1/4 1/2 1/4 respectively. my son takes a 7 and a 10 (35kg). 2/3 surfboards, 1/3 twinnies. of couse the wave kiting is excellent, season is june/july/aug... we always get something like 60-80% kiting days during our trips (july) ... plenty of other things to do when theres no wind... having said that... one of my mates did the FNQ thing this year... and i wanna go there!
