Just returned from my second trip in as many months

Many thanks to Ant, Dana, Scotty and Danny for making it all happen and to the rest of the crew who were on the trip ( a few from adelaide, sydney, melbourne and New Zealand ) for the company and entertainment.... (the stones bomb excluded ).

Certainly feel like my kiting improved over the trip..... must be something about the water temperature being like a bath where the muscles are warm and each crash doesnt send 11deg water down the back of your wetsuit.

I will post up some pictures soon.

looks awesome, great shots.whats the story with stingers and crocs up there?

Dont worry about them ........ In two trips I did not see or feel either, there are however plenty of turtles and one guy (sneakybutcher) even spotted a dugong.

Good to hear you all had a great time with Ant and the crew from kitesurfaris!
Ant and a crew also came up to give the Indigenous kids from Hopevale their first kiting lessons a couple of weeks ago. Should be an article in the December issue of Kitemag.
So good trip with a good company.

A "few" of the younger kids ( 11 of them piled out of the back of a landcruiser ) came down to the beach on our last day and Ant had them on a trainer kite, although they are only young ( 5 -12 sort of age )the enthusiasm to try something different was evident by the split water melon smiles and debates over who was next to fly the kite. These kids really are quite disadvantaged by their fairly remote location and the inherrent issues associated with many Aboriginal communities but they all share the same stoke when they are flying a kite and if Ant keeps giving his time and can get a few of them to take up kiting, who knows what the flow on effect may be for the rest of the kids in the community.

All round another awesome trip and I expect my tan will fade before my grin

Keen to hear if there's any croc sitings up there? I used to get up to the far north a bit and remember the fisherman talking about crocs everywhere. Apparently they are far more likely tyo have a crack at you than the Noahs are?

Onya Rich,

It's the one you don't see that causes the problem though.

I hope you're OK, Dana tells me Green Island didn't end well?

Was on the same trip as harry potter & co. This trip is a must to do. I've never experienced anything quite like it, there is something unique about camping in the wilderness, no luxuries, just the basics.

Ant has done a great job in putting together what is an unforgettable trip, & thanks go to him, Dana, Scottie & co for making it all happen. We are already planning our return next year. The location has pristine kiting conditions, but if you don't like flat/warm water, then you best stay at home
