Up in Exmouth this Thursday for work, hoping to smack in a sneaky session in the arvo. I'll grab a mate's surfboard up there and take a kite- but I'm not sure how the sea breeze forecast translates to reality, go with the 9m Neo or 6m Neo...??
I would say 9m is the safer bet mainly because the wind gradually picks up throughout the day. I.e you will be on the 9m until it gets too strong. Also the probability of consistent days of wind being strong enough for a 6m is very small
disagree, disregard the seabreeze forecast, its always stronger than forecast, you mentioned a surfboard, take the 6m, nothing worse than being overpowered on the waves.
PaulyOS - 6m is not 'very small', it may be so for metro warriors, we've had numerous 5m days on 18knot forecasts so far
Pack them really well and bring both in one bag, problem solved 
but if you really can only bring one and your not featherweight make it the 9, good chance you'll be overpowered but I reckon there's more chance of not having enough on the 6. And yes it sucks being overpowered on the waves but sucks more sitting out a session.

Aargh, that was a pretty even split! 70kg, so pretty much featherweight... I can probably squeeze both in, just wanted to get the local feel of what people are riding, as you say austin/tgcp i'd rather be a bit under than overpowered in the surf.

Austin is saying often forecast is 18 and we get 25. But he is also pretty much skin and bone. But he does have at least 20kg of hair and all sorts of **** in his hair too haha

you can add 10kg for 'wet weight', oh and leave my friends out of it, the mice are seasonal....
Been up here all week 5 7 10m kites and 7 would be my pick if i had one kite for sure.
