Thumbs Up

Hi guys,

I am choosing some kites to buy and was hoping for some advice.

I am 70 kgs, usually kite in brighton, or st kilda VIC, so small chop or flat, I ride a stonker kx137, but plan to get a ~132 more freestyle board soon (if anyone is selling for a good price, let me know)

I have a 12m shockwave which is good for lighter wind days but I was over powered on friday night (maybe 22-25 knts)

I am looking at a 9m 2009 helix, but am worried it is too small to get much use out of, am I right (i am used to older C kites so dont know much about SLEs sizing/power), I used to have a 12m 2005 Cabrinha CO2 and loved it, always seemed to be the right kite for the conditions

Thanks all

just looking into board lengths and came accross this

www.instructables.com/id/Make-Your-Own-Instant-Kiteboard-Footstraps-from-Se/

It appears that only suckers pay for their boards, this guy seems to look pretty cool with his own stuff.

I particularly like the board leash
