Hello guys, I was looking for some good waterproof led lights to attach either to my board or kite. The problem with all the stuff sold on ebay and amazon is that I don't know what's the duration of the batteries, the method used to attach the lights and if they produce enough light. The perfect gear I'm looking for is a kite led strip lights that is waterproof and rechargeable with USB, and produces medium light as well. I don't really care about the method used to attach the lights, I still have my hot glue
. Thanks to everyone, byeeee!
I use this for my twilight sessions.
Its a little bulky, but as you can see by the picture I can still body drag quite well.
Im usually kiting very far out at sea at night, so I find general navigation lights work best.
Youll need at least 7 by maritime law.
red-left wingtip
green - right wingtip
white- centre of LE
the board needs a white one on the nose. unless of course it's a Twinny.... It'll need 2 then!
red-left elbow
green-right elbow.
Your helmet light will depend on whether you are carrying dangerous goods, under tow, anchored, etc..... But you'll know this with a quick pre-sea refresher course!
